The Boeing Company is looking for the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), a non-fully integrated subsidiary of the Boeing Company which will report to the Vice President of Intelligence Systems within the Space, Intelligence & Weapons Systems division.  This CEO position is located at the headquarters onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD.

The CEO of BI&A will provide overall company leadership, strategic direction and operation oversight of the BI&A business.  The CEO will be responsible for balancing the advantages of small company agility and focusing on the depth and breadth of capability offered by a large corporation. BI&A supports global missions by building and delivering intelligence, analytics, and cyber solutions to advance national security. With vibrant partnerships and innovative approaches, they serve the Intelligence Community with innovation and vision. They have provided their customers with the tools needed to counter evolving global and cyber threats, and to improve wartime decision-making.

The selected candidate engages in extensive customer engagement with the BI&A customer base including top US government officials. The BI&A business is a portfolio of programs within varying Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) customers. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • ​Fosters the Boeing mission and company values within the subsidiary, making the unique characteristics of the business part of the integrated culture
  • Responsible for company sales, profitability, cash flow and business goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with the BI&A and Intelligence Systems Leadership Teams to develop and implement cohesive operational plans
  • Broad leadership of people, processes and tools with full decision authority
  • Lead and manage a diverse, highly skilled workforce located in 21 states
  • Establish and execute long-range business plans, utilizing gated decision processes

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):  

  • Minimum 5 years of senior leader experience (leading a portfolio of programs with subordinate managers)
  • Minimum 10 years of program management experience
  • Experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
  • Experience with critical business and financial acumen including risk, issue, and opportunity management to drive performance
  • Ability to develop and grow strong customer relationships
  • Ability to set and manage strategic direction
  • Experience coaching, counseling, and providing developmental opportunities to expand capabilities of subordinate program managers and leaders
  • Active Top Secret/SCI U.S. Security Clearance (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)  Ability to obtain current Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) (U.S. Citizenship required) with Full Scope polygraph post start

  • Experience with Intelligence Community
  • Inspirational leadership and communication skills
  • Strong business and technical acumen
  • Strong PM skills (PMP highly desired) including experience with the implementation and use of Program Management Best Practices
  • Detailed knowledge of Enterprise functions supporting the programs

Summary pay range: ​$200,000 - $280,000
