Reporting to the Group Vice President of Operations, the Business Process Improvement Manager leads the development and execution of the MRO Group’s Business Process Improvement strategy. This role drives and sustains process improvement initiatives across all MRO Group facilities, focusing on operational and customer excellence, profitability, and regulatory compliance. Key methodologies include Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma. This position is based in Miami, Florida.

Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the MRO Group-wide Continuous Improvement (CI) and Business Process Improvement strategy - targeting operational and customer excellence, profitability, productivity and regulatory compliance.
Initiate, drive, implement and sustain process improvement projects across all facilities. Prepare, run and debrief major Kaizen, value stream mapping, strategic goal deployment, and Lean initiative events and communicate those results throughout the organization.
Analyze and optimize business processes to reduce costs and improve margins.
Develop and track performance metrics; report effectiveness to executives and management. Share best practices.
Align MRO facilities by standardizing operational processes and implementing KPIs to ensure consistency and efficiency. Along with all departments, document necessary policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.
Promote best practices in Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Champion quality and safety culture, ensuring compliance with AS9110, ISO, and internal audit standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (such as Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, HR, Finance, IT) to understand workflows and implement solutions.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aviation Management, or related field.
3+ years’ experience in operations (aviation maintenance or aerospace preferred).
Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen) preferred.
Project Management experience preferred.
Proven track record to lead and sustain change at the interface between operations and IT
Demonstrated success in achieving measurable business improvements without direct authority over resources.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.
