The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company’s Human Resources (HR) Operations - Hiring Contingencies Delivery organization is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager to lead the Background Screening and Adjudication team in Mesa, AZ.
This role is critical in ensuring the effective delivery of background screening services for new hires, sensitive positions, and non-employee/visitor screenings across the US Boeing Enterprise. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of background screening and adjudication regulations and processes, a keen eye for process improvement, and the ability to foster relationships with various stakeholders.
Position Responsibilities:
Manage and lead a team of screeners and adjudicators in support of Boeing Enterprise, Domestic New Hire, Sensitive Screening and Non-employee Screenings ensuring consistent, equitable and effective background screening and adjudication services
Oversee daily operations of the Background Screening and Adjudication Program, ensuring service delivery meets established standards and cycle times
Lead initiatives to identify and implement process improvements across the Background Screening and Adjudication program
Manage and develop a team of screeners and adjudicators to support Boeing US Enterprise's background screening initiatives providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure team effectiveness
Ensure suppliers meet performance expectations as outlined in contracts and service level agreements
Develop supplier performance scorecards and lead supplier selection processes during proposals
Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with stakeholders, key partners across business units, direct reports and contract labor
Ensure metrics, cycle time and service level agreements align to business needs and requirements
Provide background screening and adjudication support to Boeing subsidiaries
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience with background screening, investigations, and/or adjudication
3+ years of experience managing a caseload, and using electronic databases to track and access information
3+ years of experience managing suppliers
3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in administering background screening services
Fair Credit Reporting Act Certification
3+ years of experience with process, policy and regulatory requirements related to the Fair Credit Reporting Act & Equal Employment Opportunity Commission
3+ years of experience in Background Screening & Adjudication
Experience overseeing operational processes in background screening and/or adjudication related fields
Experience with the criminal justice system and the stages of adjudication in criminal matters
Experience handling confidential and sensitive personally identifiable information
Experience with Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), as related to the background screening industry
Experience with state and federal law limitations as they pertain to employment law

Summary pay range: $112,200 – $165,000
