Finance Associate

Finance Associate Overview:

The Finance Associate position is responsible for:

• Processing ACH exceptions, returns, and originations
• Processing Share draft exceptions and returns
• Processing Wire transfers both incoming and outgoing
• Processing member ACH disputes and stop payments in accordance with applicable regulations and guidelines
• Reviewing and researching daily fraud notifications related to member A2A, P2P, and Bill Pay transfers. Contacting members as need to determine course of action
• Processing corporate stop payment requests in accordance with UCC-3
• Independently researching and resolving discrepancies and errors on member accounts and general ledger accounts
• Completing special projects as assigned
• Backing up job responsibilities in other areas of Finance
• Completing other duties as assigned

This position will have direct contact with members as needed.

Candidate must have strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams is necessary. A basic knowledge of accounting is beneficial but not required. The candidate should be a team player that takes the initiative to get the job done.

• Interpersonal skills to effectively suggest new products and services to our members
• Ability to multi-task and maintain organization and efficiency in a fast-paced environment
• High School diploma or equivalent
• One to three years of experience, preferably in a Financial Institution
• In depth knowledge of NACHA Rules & Regs, and Federal Regulations E & CC preferred
• All qualified candidates must pass a credit and background check

Starting pay DOE

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8:30am � 5:00pm (No weekends)
