The Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) Projects, Assets, Construction, and Engineering Center of Excellence (PACE) is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join their core team as a First Line Manager for a team of project managers managing Enterprise Initiatives Projects such as conference room modernization.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of project management methodologies, and the ability to foster a collaborative team environment across the country. This role is critical in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership:

    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers

    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance

  • Project Oversight:

    • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of Enterprise initiatives

    • Ensure projects are aligned with strategic objectives and meet quality standards

  • Stakeholder Management:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables

    • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders

  • Resource Management:

    • Allocate resources effectively to ensure project success

    • Monitor team performance and provide feedback to enhance productivity

    • Travel ~25% to support team and Enterprise projects

  • Process Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices in project management

    • Utilize project management tools and methodologies to streamline workflows

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience with project management or construction management

  • 5+ years of experience partnering & working with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives

  • 3+ years of experience managing project schedules and managing programs and projects

  • 3+ years of experience using professional written and verbal communication skills to achieve deliverables

  • 3+ years of experience with team building, developing and motivating employees

  • 25% domestic travel

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience in program management and/or financial management/analysis

  • 5+ years of experience developing and presenting recommendations to executive level management

  • 5+ years of experience collecting data from multiple sources, performing analysis and presenting data

  • 3+ years of experience in working with project finances

  • Experience with contract management, invoice management/reconciliation, and vendor management
