HR COMPLIANCE ADMINISTRATOR AT PRIMEFLIGHT

The HR Compliance Administrator supports HR operations with a focus on compliance and administration. This role stays current on labor laws, including minimum wage requirements, and ensures alignment with local, state, and federal regulations. Responsibilities include handling unemployment matters, termination workflows, employment transactions, and HR correspondence. The role also leads HR projects, communications, SOPs, and compliance initiatives.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct research on federal and state laws and regulations and assist with interpretation of system policies, regulations, and rules; draft policy revisions based on changes in laws, rules, or guidelines.
  • Monitor and interpret labor laws, including minimum wage requirements, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Routinely review, interpret, and update companywide HR practices to ensure compliance and consistency
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on all companywide HR compliance postings
  • Maintain company compliance through proactive auditing practices
  • Partner with internal audit teams to align HR processes with legal and organizational standards
  • Communicate effectively and deliver best-in-class service to employees and leadership
  • Maintain confidentiality and high level of attention to detail, required
  • May be assigned other duties as required

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in HR, compliance or another pertinent role
  • Strong analytic, research and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized and ability to multi-task
  • Exceptional administrative skills in organization and project management
  • Takes initiative to implement and improve processes
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, demonstrate a sense of urgency and resolve problems promptly and effectively
  • Demonstrated success working in a fast paced, matrix environment, with a track record of accomplishments with measurable business impact
  • Experience with supporting colleagues across multiple locations
  • Intermediate/Highly proficient Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
  • Must be flexible to work extended hours on occasion to support our field operations
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
  •  Ability to work in office, onsite, Monday-Friday 
  • Pass a background check and drug screen
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Eligible to work in the United States
