Job Summary: The Human Resources Co-Op will support the Human Resources team in delivering key initiatives across talent acquisition, employee engagement, training, and compliance. This role provides hands-on experience in HR operations and projects, offering exposure to various HR functions while contributing to the overall success of the department. The position is ideal for students pursuing a degree in Human Resources or a related field who are eager to gain practical experience in a corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruiting & Onboarding
• Assist with job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling.
• Support onboarding activities, including preparing new hire materials and coordinating orientation sessions.
2. Employment Engagement & Communication
• Help organize employee events and recognition programs.
• Assist in creating internal communications and HR-related content.
3. HR Operations & Compliance
• Maintain accurate employee records and assist with HRIS data entry.
• Support compliance initiatives, including policy updates and audit preparation.
4. HR Reporting & Analytics
• Assist with scheduling and tracking training sessions.
• Help prepare training materials and resources for employee development programs.
Required Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to work in an office environment with standard equipment.
• May require occasional lifting of office supplies up to 20 pounds.
