Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Procurement Multi-Family Senior Manager to join our Materials and Standards Contracts and Operations team in Everett, WA.

The Procurement Multi-Family Senior Manager will lead all procurement activities and keep the business operations running efficiently by supporting both Enterprise level initiatives and implementing high visibility supply chain focused projects, developing and executing integrated organizational plans and solutions to enable business objectives. The ideal candidate will ensure all items and services are accurately acquired, so that projects and processes can proceed efficiently and optimally to drive the overall success of the company. They will simultaneously lead multiple contracting activities while partnering with customers to ensure a OneBoeing approach! 

  

This role requires partnership with Leaders across the enterprise and an active member of the BCA (Boeing Commercial Airplane) Supply Chain team.   

  

This position will discover new opportunities and solutions for business problems by looking beyond current practices and using innovative thinking. This role requires blending strategic thinking with on-the-ground execution, enabling the organizations to improve systems, business policies, processes and efficiencies to operate as One Boeing Supply Chain.   

Our team is currently hiring for a Level M Procurement Multi-Family Senior Manager.

Position Responsibilities:

• Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.
• Manages employees and mid level managers from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes and supplier diversity.
• Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals and objectives.
• Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
• Provides oversight regarding negotiation strategies, processes and related tools.
• Manages develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers.
   

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

• 10+ years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain Processes 
• 10+ years of experience collaborating with senior management and/or executive leadership 
• 10+ years of experience in leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects, transactions or initiatives
• Domestic and international travel as needed

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

• Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree
• 10+ years of experience demonstrating exceptional business, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• 10+ years of experience with interfacing with and presenting to senior and/or executive leadership
