What We Offer
The City and County of Denver offers a competitive salary commensurate with education and experience. The salary range for this position is $106,577- $175,852. New hires are typically brought into the organization between $145,000- $165,000. We also offer generous benefits for full-time employees which include but are not limited to:

The City and County of Denver utilizes a hybrid model workplace that balances the responsibilities of public service with the benefits of a flexible work environment. Position 1:
The Special Projects division at Denver International Airport is responsible for delivering complex and multi-phased Capital Improvement Programs, which the portfolio currently includes the Great Hall Terminal Renovation, Baggage Handling System Modernization and Recapitalization, Consolidated Rental Car Facility, and the North Terminal Expansion. These mega projects are critical in supporting future passenger growth at one of the largest and busiest airports in the world. The Special Projects Division is seeking a Senior Design Manager to perform oversight and advise on professional service deliverables, collaborate and manage the design through construction, and provide Project Management support services where needed. This includes monitoring programmatic and project-level scopes, budgets, and schedules in conjunction with construction progress and program budgets for multiple programs. The position will interact with contractors and designers, construction and design project managers, DEN Planning and Design, DEN Operations, DEN Business Technologies, and any other affected DEN divisions and Airlines as needed. This position will report directly to the Design Integration Director for Special Projects Division

Position 2:
The Special Projects Division is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee construction activities within the Special Projects division. The Senior Project Manager will provide direction, facilitation, subject matter expertise, proficiency with issue resolution, and a relationship-oriented approach to aid in the success of the program. The Senior Project Manager will focus on construction management documentation, contractor performance measurement and reporting on the status of compliance in the areas of project cost, schedule, quality, safety, and risk.
