Subcontracts Manager/Supply Chain Development Specialist

• Support the development of an Industry Capability strategy for the Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance enterprise to meet project goals
• Lead the negotiation of contracts for design, development and qualification of Australian Industry products and materials
• Collaborate with program stakeholders to develop statement(s) of requirements for industry work packages
• Lead the full subcontract lifecycle, including make or buy decisions, requirements development, requests for proposals, subcontract negotiation and award and subcontract management
• Support the development of business cases for the investment in industry capability development
• Develop sourcing and subcontract program management strategic plans that address overall program capture needs and execution
• Support the development of the supply chain aspects of the integrated program schedule and cost baseline
• Manage strategic supplier relationships

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is a Strategic Industry Partner for the development of the Australian Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance (GWEO) Enterprise with goals to enhance self-reliance, supply chain resilience, and developing a guided weapons manufacturing capability in Australia. The Strategic Capabilities Office (SCO) will oversee the execution of GWEO initiatives.

• Significant experience across relevant disciplines, such as, procurement, supply chain, contracting and industry capability development
• Professional experience working within a Defence or complex project environment
• A background in, or sound knowledge of, Defence capability development processes and Defence acquisition practices (Desirable)
