- Responsible for the supervision and coordination of all maintenance functions on shift at the assigned location ensuring these activities are performed in a safe manner in accordance with schedule requirements and in compliance with all established company, regulatory and manufacturers procedures
- Leads and assign work team and related personnel to meet company and customer requirements, goals, and objectives
- Adheres to all applicable collective bargaining agreements (CBA), ensures their team has the appropriate resources available and holds them accountable for the work assigned/performed
- Provide leadership and direction to on shift labor workforce to maximize productivity and output whilst ensuring necessary resources are available
- Build / reinforce a fair and respectful work environment through consistent application of CBA work rules and company policies
- Execute station performance goals and objectives aligning with divisional and company goals
- Maintain a high level of awareness of operational, safety and human resource related performance objectives
- Implement and sustainment of continuous improvement activities and oversee safety and security of work group operations to ensure regulatory compliance of technical operations activities
- Maintain a high level of communication with employee groups within the work group
- Report status of operations, highlighting significant events to leadership whilst providing direction to assigned personnel to ensure shop and divisional objectives are achieved
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid FAA A&P License
- 2+ years engine and/or machine maintenance experience or equivalent
- Extensive knowledge of engine overhaul or maintenance processes
- Communication skills

- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree / master's in aviation technology, Management, Engineering, Business or Physical Sciences
- 5 years in a leadership role within an engine maintenance organization leading unionized labor
- Background and technical knowledge of United Technical Operations engines and piece part repair processes
