Salary Range
The full salary range for this position is $79,831 to $119,747 annually. Please note, we generally don't make offers above midpoint.

The Manager, Station Operations will provide operational leadership and strategic support for all team members at the local level and is accountable for a successful partnership between McGee Air Services and its customers. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of ground operations including station budgets, local safety programs and leading an engaged, highly productive team. The Manager also serves as the liaison with local airport agencies and authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Foster and maintain an environment and culture where the safety of our team members and customers is of paramount importance
- Lead a team of supervisors, leads, and agents, including team member coaching, mentoring, and supporting individual development
- Recognize and celebrate individual and team performance
- Regularly monitor, assess, and report on below-wing and team performance to identify trends and drive ongoing improvement
- Proactively investigate and report delays, irregularities, safety and compliance concerns, share lessons learned, and develop solutions for future prevention
- Prepare operational plans, budgets and monthly/quarterly team member work schedules as appropriate
- Supervise staff and to ensure tools and equipment are available and in good working condition for employees to perform job functions effectively and safely
- Manage budgets to ensure facilities are maintained in excellent condition, clean, organized, and free of hazards and clutter
- Track and analyze station financial targets and develop strategies to improve productivity and cost performance
- Submit station variance explanation, drivers, and corrective actions if necessary (Budget vs Actuals)
- Supervise and fulfill all administrative duties inherent to this position in a timely manner to include hiring, scheduling, training, discipline and employee performance development
- Ensure compliance with company policies and all regulations of federal, state and local airport authorities

- Performs other duties as assigned to support McGee’s successful business operation.
Required:
- 3+ years of airline experience with proven skills in station operations, including one of the following areas: passenger service, cargo handling, cabin cleaning, or ground operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional work ethic and demonstrated ability to work with all work groups while addressing people courageously, directly and candidly
- Proven ability to direct the work of others in a positive way
- Strong leadership ability with a genuine desire to help others
- Able to lead and successfully communicate with a diverse workgroup and other internal departments
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work with and maintain confidential information
- Ability to obtain and maintain airport security clearance, customs seal, and/or USPS security clearance including background criminal history check, drug screen and fingerprinting
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on a frequent basis
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred:
- Aviation, Transportation, or related industry experience
- College course work in a related field
